Terms of Service

Last updated 13 July 2026 · GetSwift (getswift.cloud)

These terms cover the rules for using GetSwift: what you can and can't do, who owns what, and the legal bits that protect both of us. Plain language, no dark patterns.

The short version: use it for lawful things, you own what you upload, it's free and provided as-is, and we can remove content or accounts that break the rules.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and GetSwift (“GetSwift”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of getswift.cloud and all related services — file hosting, link-in-bio pages, collections, and email aliases (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

02The Service

GetSwift is a free platform for hosting and sharing files, building a link-in-bio page, and sending and receiving email through aliases. Every feature is provided free of charge — there is no premium tier and no paid gating.

Because it is free and provided as-is, we may add, change, limit, or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee any particular level of availability, storage, or uptime.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using GetSwift you confirm that you meet these requirements.

04Your account

  • You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password, API keys, and tokens secure.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Don't share your account, transfer it, or impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store, host, send, or link to any content or to carry out any activity that:

  • is illegal, or facilitates illegal activity, under any law that applies to you or to us;
  • is, contains, or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we have zero tolerance and will report it to the relevant authorities;
  • infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • contains malware, viruses, or is used for phishing, credential theft, or fraud;
  • is used to send spam, bulk unsolicited email, or to evade anti-spam controls;
  • harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against others;
  • attempts to breach, overload, disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure, or to circumvent rate limits or security controls;
  • resells or redistributes the Service as your own without our permission.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, at our discretion.

06Your content and licence

You keep all ownership of the files, pages, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). We don't claim ownership of it.

To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, host, back up, reproduce, transmit, and display Your Content — but only as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual backup copies as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it. Remember that content you set to public — including public files, collections, and bio pages — can be viewed and downloaded by anyone with the link.

08Suspension & termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable and lawful, we'll try to give you notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your content may be deleted.

09Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use it at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetSwift will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, for a free service, is zero. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

11Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold GetSwift harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent such claims result from our own wrongdoing.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member-state law where GetSwift is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms overrides those rights.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
