DMCA & Copyright Policy

GetSwift respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. If you own the rights to a work and believe it has been made available on GetSwift without your permission, you can ask us to remove it using the process below. This policy applies alongside the copyright section of our Terms of Service. We honour both the notice-and-takedown approach of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent obligations under EU law.

Send your notice to [email protected] with the subject line “Copyright takedown”. To be valid, it must include:

• identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works);
• the exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on GetSwift, so we can locate it;
• your full name, address, and email address;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to the material we find to be infringing, and take reasonable steps to notify the affected user.

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

• identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared;
• your name, address, and email address;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We may restore the content if the original complainant does not pursue the matter further, in line with applicable law.

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Accounts subject to multiple valid takedown notices may be suspended or permanently closed.

Filing a false or bad-faith notice — or a counter-notice — can carry legal liability, including for damages and costs. Please only submit a notice if you are genuinely the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
