01Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do with GetSwift. It expands on the acceptable-use section of our Terms of Service and applies to everything you host, share, send, or link through the service — files, collections, link-in-bio pages, and email aliases. Breaking this policy can lead to content removal or loss of your account.
02Prohibited content and activity
You must not use GetSwift to store, host, send, or link to anything that:
- is illegal, or facilitates illegal activity, under any law that applies to you or to us;
- is, contains, or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we have zero tolerance and report it to the relevant authorities;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights (see our DMCA & Copyright Policy);
- contains malware, viruses, or is used for phishing, credential theft, scams, or fraud;
- is used to send spam, bulk unsolicited email, or to evade anti-spam controls;
- harasses, threatens, defames, doxxes, or incites violence or hatred against others;
- contains non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content involving anyone who is or appears to be a minor;
- attempts to breach, overload, disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure, or to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or security controls;
- impersonates another person or organisation, or misrepresents your affiliation with them;
- resells or redistributes the service as your own without our permission.
03Email-specific rules
GetSwift email aliases are for personal and legitimate correspondence. You must not use them to send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, run mailing lists without recipients' consent, spoof sender identities, distribute malware or phishing links, or otherwise abuse the email system. We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke aliases that are used for these purposes.
04Reporting illegal content or abuse
If you believe content on GetSwift is illegal or breaks this policy, tell us so we can act. Send a notice to [email protected] including:
- the exact URL(s) of the content on GetSwift;
- a clear explanation of why it is illegal or breaks this policy;
- your name and contact details (so we can follow up — anonymous reports are still reviewed);
- for copyright specifically, use our DMCA & Copyright Policy process instead.
We review valid notices promptly and act on them — for example by removing content or disabling access. Where the law requires it, we'll give the affected user a statement of the reasons for our decision. This is our notice-and-action mechanism for the purposes of the EU Digital Services Act.
05Enforcement
We may remove or disable content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach this policy — with or without notice, depending on the severity and the law. Serious or repeated violations, and anything involving CSAM, may be reported to law enforcement. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Our full rights are set out in our Terms of Service.
06Changes to this policy
We'll revise the “last updated” date above if this policy changes. Continued use of GetSwift after an update means you accept the revised policy.
07Contact us
